Deborah is a health psychologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at McGill University. She has been the Director of Psychology at the McGill Comprehensive Health Improvement Program (CHIP) since its inception. Her research focuses on the interplay between modifiable psychosocial and behavioural (e.g. exercise, sleep) factors and health status in various chronic illnesses and in relation to mental health in populations at risk, guided by a biopsychosocial framework. This has laid the foundation for the knowledge-transfer phase of her program which focuses on tailoring and evaluating evidence-based digital interventions through an equity, diversity and inclusivity lens to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to optimize their health and wellness across the lifespan at teachable moments.
Kayli is a 3rd Year BA candidate at McGill University in Psychology with a double minor in Behavioral Sciences and Sociology. She is passionate about advancing our healthcare system through innovative research and technology. Currently, she is aiding in research on the mental health of expectant mothers and fathers, as well as revolutionizing patient care in a new virtual system for individuals living with rheumatic inflammatory arthritis. She is also committed to improving mental health in the community by volunteering in active listening, such as being involved in peer support at McGill University and for the homeless community at Face à Face. Through her work and skills in mental health, she is dedicated to fostering positive change and a better quality of life for others across the lifespan using an Equity, Diversity and Inclusiveness lens.
Richard is an innovative engineer with extensive management experience. He has worked in high tech companies such as CAE, Tata Communications, Schneider Electric and Nortel. As a project manager he has been recognized for his interpersonal and communication skills and his ability to drive strategic initiatives and change. He is a proven leader with advanced project management skills (PMP, Agile, Scrum) developed through experience advancing complex national and international projects of different sizes, complexities, budgets and types. To help achieve success, Richard also pays much attention to co-workers mental health in order to ensure an environment that fosters growth, wellness and ultimately happiness.
Michael is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in psychology, web design, data management, and procurement. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Michael possesses a unique blend of analytical thinking and interpersonal skills, allowing for a deep understanding of human behavior and effective communication.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Michael has cultivated expertise in web design, leveraging a creative eye and technical proficiency to develop visually appealing and user-friendly digital platforms. This skill set has enabled him to contribute significantly to the digital presence and success of various projects.
Furthermore, Michael has honed his skills in data management, demonstrating a knack for organizing and analyzing large datasets efficiently. This proficiency has been instrumental in ensuring data integrity and informing strategic decision-making processes.
